Are you enjoying retirement? I was asked this question again today and I thought I would like to write about my half year of not retirement but reposition, restoration and repair. Yes, Yes, Yes would be the answer.
I have traveled to Kentucky, Philadelphia and Washington DC as a Patient Advocate and American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network volunteer. I have written articles for "The Spirit of Barnabas" Church magazine and continue to work on my second book, Joy for the Journey: Merceda's Touch Two. I have joined Business over Coffee to continue learning Social Media, Education and Entrepreneurial skills. I started attending 12 noon prayer at Cornerstone IBC and Chronological Bible Study at Central Church. I have met and fellowshipped with so many people and each person has contributed to my aspirations by inspirations.
I am blogging everywhere, facebooking, tweeting and smiling because I enjoy Listening, reading and writing. I am learning how to be a community consultant and speaker so ask me again if I am enjoying retirement. I will sign off now because after all it time to start walking as I work to meet my five mile a day treadmill goal. I will keep you posted with every "ByGodInspired" opportunity.

Sometines we are so good at handling situations and solutions until they are knocking on your door. My plea for today is to touch somebody you love and ask them what would they consider as a directive to march into the EOL Mountain and Valley Experience.
I found an old program where I was the Speaker for a 1992 LPN Pinning Ceremony with the Healers Prayer on it so this is where I am today on this journey.
Comment by Wy Woods Harris on January 27, 2012 at 5:59am Yesterday was such a full day of doing what I enjoy such as going to Central Church for Chronological Bible study, attending my first BMH IRB meeting and then Tennesee Cancer Coalition meeting. "I Smile" so now I work toward my goal of weight control by walking!
