Yesterday I was at the Bedside of my Sister in Law and Love as she transitioned to her Heavenly Place. She was surrounded by many Family and Friends and it was most appropriate because she loved a crowded room. I thought about the meals we shared, the laughter and the celebrations and that she was always there to work the room. I say this bcause she could do two or three conversations at one time.
She was at my high school and college graduations, ministerial licensing and ordination. She was at my birthday parties, our wedding anniversaries and just recently, she was at my retirement party after I completed 43 yrs on the job.
I am glad that God gave us this last two weeks together to share and pray. She had a way of waking up and calling my name so that it was as if she was introducing me to God each time. We talked and she talked about being so tired. So God Who knew her from the beginning to end gave her rest on Friday February 4, 2012. So I say to you Lillie, "Good Evening my Sister. I will see you some glad morning when this life is over, What a pair of wings we will pick out to wear forever!
