He That Hath An Ear!! Part 2
Ok let me get back on track. Last night the revivalist was trying to make these connections and quoting a lot of these "cliches" that the church uses. No disrespect but they are getting to be too commercial. But let me not lose my focus AGAIN. Anyway the evangelist began to talk about a wasp and a wasp nest and he was making the analogy of I guess how God can change you so to speak. So he stated he would visit the wasp nest and look inside and forgive me my first thought was, "Yeah God was with you to get up on a wasp nest with baby wasp and NOT GET STUNG", and he said he looked inside and saw a worm. I didn't question it because I've never looked inside a wasp nest so I don't know how they look in the "birthing" stage ... but he went on and he said the next few days he went to check on the worm and the worm was no more but it was now a butterfly and I"m thinking .. WHAT???????? and everybody saying, "that's right, amen" and again I'm thinking, did I miss something?? A baby wasp turned into a butterfly?? He said some more things that were waaaaayyy out there but that one really stuck with me and the people saying AMEN .. THAT'S RIGHT ... and that was my initial point .. ARE WE HEARING??? DO WE LISTEN ANYMORE?? and I know that may NOT be so bad but the Holy Spirit began to minister to my spirit and say, "It's even in these little statements where we are destroyed" and I know HE (The Holy Spirit) stated that because there were just a lot of "things" being said that were NOT "SOUND" in their analogy and people were "Amening" and "That's Right" all over the place and so it made me wonder ....Do we really LISTEN when someone is speaking??? Something as small as THAT and the people just going along with it awakened me to the fact that We ARE destroyed because of a lack of knowledge and so many of us receive ONLY what is given to us via a person .. nothing wrong with that .. that's why God sent various gifts to minister unto the body and we have Pastors and Evangelists and Prophets etc .. yes I believe they walk amongs us .. LOL that sounded off .. THEY WALK AMONG US ... but there is a time when "I" have to get in that Word and study it for ME ... to develop that relationship .. to go beyond what is JUST given to me on Sunday and even Wednesday Night Bible Studies and LEARN OF HIM MYSELF ... that's what drove me to learn more myself .. I NEEDED TO KNOW GOD .. JESUS .. and THE HOLY SPIRIT .. God used men and women to point me in that direction BUT in order to me to receive what I needed I had to put in that time "alone" with God ... what I'm saying is ... LISTEN .. LISTEN ... LISTEN .. HE THAT HATH AN "EAR" ... because believe it or not the destruction of many of us as children of God will be our desire NOT TO HEAR ... God Bless ...

Ok so got that, Mark 4:24, The Word of God reads, "If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear." Then He said to them, " Take heed what you hear.". With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given. For whoever has , to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.' So then we Pray that the Lord will enlighten the eyes of our understanding, and that He gives us ears to hear what the Spirit is saying, that we be careful to filter it with the Word of God, and prayer, casting down every vain imagination, that would exalt itself above the knowledge of God and bring into captivity every thought INTO the obedience of Jesust Christ.
