There is no compromise when walking with God, it is either all or nothing. You must never lean to the world's standards of victory only those of God's. Lean not to your logic and understanding, instead choose to be Holy Spirit lead and God directed. You must strive to walk in faith, you must not lean to your understanding. No one understands the ways of God, you must listen with your spiritual ear and see with your spiritual eye. You must focus on the KINGDOM OF GOD and ALL HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS. He will provide all your needs by his riches and glory - if you have the faith of a mustard seed you can move a mountain. Abuse, neglect, dysfunction, depression and despair can sink one into a well of shame. Remember who your protector is, who vengeance belongs to. Forget not that you were forgiven for none of us walk in perfection. Release the anger, feelings of shame and unworthiness. Don't be the blind or the deaf. Just because you grew up in the church doesnot make you righteous. Examine your walk and die to self. You are anew creature in Christ and lose the scaley skin of the snake you used to be. Church hurt is a serious threat to new believers, the church should be a place of refreshment. It's up to you and I make sure that's what it stays. Love your neighbor as yourself.
