I studied Emmanuel Kant back in high school. At the time I really didn’t understand the meaning of the words that Mrs. Wilson was trying so hard to get us to understand. Today I watched this video and wondered why, why are children blindsided by the things that are materialistic in this world.

Infant Mortality in Memphis

I'm wondering how can we serve more outside our community? I just watched the 20/20 special on Infant Mortality in Memphis and I'm deeply sadden. I became a parent at 18. My Mother was a great inspiration on our lives (my son and me). As young women its so hard when the odds are already against us.

Veronica M. Windows said… - No I haven't... I have been so busy with my family that I am just about out of breath! Mama's health is digressing and she had a stroke and is not at her best. We have to take turns taking care of her to help my sister out. You won't guess what Vonte' just asked me. He just asked me were you a little girl on your picture~ HA! He is so funny. I told him that you were on the picture with your husband and he couldn't believe it. He thought you were a little girl. That is so funny..... I am getting so tired in my body that I can't imagine how I'm going to look this time next year. My stress level is at an all time high. I only answer messages that I have to because with my new job, I don't have time. The phones are terror!!! However, I thank God for a job because now a day, we don't know what is next with the economy.
