Bro you just don't know the joy it is to know that you're doing so well ...as the song says "Never Would have made it!" No doubt, we lost a few in the trenches, traps and booby traps of Bed Stuy but God had the last word and saw fit to save us for His cause. Sometimes I still mourn the losses of so many that we ran with and played in the park with as kids...seems like just yesterday when we were on the sliding boards and acting a fool...trying to scratch 33s!
Its painful that so many that we knew never really got to know the Savior that we now know in Christ...now it's my goal to share His love everywhere i go. When Ray told me about your wife I wept for you. You've always been in my prayers. Can't wait to hook up with ya and u already know that we must stay in touch. Give those boyz of yours a great big hug from Uncle Mel and let them know the history. Blessings and prayers always.

I thank God for connection and restoration brought forth through this site. You see, Cee Cee Lyles, the Black Flight Attendant on United Flight 93, was my first cousin.
