- Born Kalmajlit Dionne Jacobs on 4 July 1972 in Fort Worth, Texas to Mildred Jacobs and Albert Wyndell Jacobs. During her Elementary years, Kam attended Penny Stone elementary and Five Palms Elementary. She also attended Anderson Jones Middle School before continuing on to John Jay Mustang Highs School as a freshman. In 1990, Kam completed her high school career as a Judson Rocket [Whoop Whoop] in Converse, Texas. Kam was a diehard Rocket fan who supported her alma mata every Friday night at the football games. Kam was reared by her loving parents, Rev Will C. and Mildred Parther Jr., who encouraged and inspired her to be the loving and caring young lady that we all love. Kam received Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age of 11 at Joshu Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastro Clifton Phillips. She worshipped and served in the youth department, the usher board and in the choir. In 1999, she moved her membership to Resurrection Baptist Church in Schertz, Texas, where Rady D Brown Sr. served as her pastor. At RBC, Kam continued to serve at the 'information desk' and in the magnification ministries. Kam was blessed with one daughter, Kambria Leshay Jacobs-Owens on May 16, 1998. The Lord called our sweet Kam home to rest on August 9, 2009. She leaves to cherish her memory:one beautiful daughter, Kambria; her loving parents, Minister & Mildred Parther, seven siblings, brother Michael Parther [SA, TX] Kendra Keyes [Pastor Melford Keyes] [UC, TX] , Keisha Edwards [Darold Edwads] [Shertz, TX], Nyoka Miles [Ft Worth, TX], Janasha White [Ft Worth, TX, Tasha Stokes [Ft Worth, TX], Ilisha Boyd [ Arlington, TX; six neices, Denesa Townsend, Larhonda Keyes, Delicia Townsend, Shavon Edwards, Alicia Edwards and Apryl Keyes; two nephews, Melford 'Denzell' Keyes, and Darius Parther and a host of close relatives and friends.
