MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Valentine's Day can be a pressure filled time for single men and women, as they feel a push from friends and family to find love and settle down. Memphis Author E. Marcel Jones addresses this and several other issues single Christians face in his debut release, The Naked Truth: The Gospel According to Singles, and upcoming Singles Conference based on the book.
Jones is an associate pastor at Cummings Street M.B. Church, under the leadership of Gary L. Faulkner.
His Naked Truth Singles Conference will be held April 4 from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Christ the Rock Church located at 8800 Winchester Road in Memphis, Tenn. The multi-cultural event is expected to draw hundreds from the Memphis area and will tackle a myriad of problems plaguing singles today. Topics range from declaring an abstinent lifestyle to Christian dating tips, financial planning, single parenting, life after divorce and much more. Registration is $50 per person and includes a complimentary copy of Jones' book, lunch and a conference t-shirt. The final day to register is March 16.
