Is Someone You Know Being Abused?

There's no way to tell who's experiencing domestic violence. Victims & abusers come in all genders, shapes, sizes, colors, economic classes, sexual orientations & personality types. Victims aren't always passive w/low self esteem. Batterers aren't always overtly hateful to their partners in front of others. Most victims don't tell. Look for the signs:

Injuries with excuses
Excessive absences from work or school
Low self esteem (sometimes)
Fear of conflict
Self blame
Isolation
Passive-Aggressive Behavior
Stress Related Problems
