Thank you LaJocelyn for allowing God to direct your comment. Sometimes I get impatient in my waiting on my blessed mate. Holidays seem to always be the worst because I see couples and I feel lonely. I thank God for this network. There are so many encouraging people here.

Greetings Saved Singles!

I have recently joined this wonderful network, and just wanted to say a few words. Upon truly accepting and embracing my Christian singleness, I began to pray and focus on what it really means to be me. I found that I not only needed this space to realize more fully my potential as a child of God, but to more closely ponder the question, "Am I giving back all that I am asking for in a Christian mate?" I use my singleness to enjoy me, to learn about me and get myself more completely well rounded and prepared for the blessed mate that God has in store for me in his own time.

As a divorced, single woman, the peace of God has been the best experience of my life. I've dates some guys, and they all turned out to be the same. "I want a good woman", seems to be the best pick up line of my generation. Through prayer, trusting, and submitting to God's will for my life I now am complete. I no longer look for a man to fill the void. I know there is a husband that I was created for, in the meantime I'm enjoying the abundance of joy only God can give.

I was married for 15 years, separated 4, and now divorced nearly 2 years. I'm the mother of one ten year old daughter. I've dated some but most turned out to be BOZO instead of BOAZ. I enjoyed being a wife and am looking forward to becoming one again - preparing myself daily to be found by the one God sends looking for me.
