Are You A Credible Christian?

I've gotta' point this out to those of you who say you are TRUE BELIEVERS.. Those who say YOU HAVE BEEN DELIVERED! Then why is it you are walking around like you are defeated? The word tells us in Philippians that "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me." Again I ask.. why are you walking around wounded, worried, angry, depressed and scarred? If you say you have been delivered by Christ, now comes the time when I am about to state something that may rub some people the wrong way...but what I am about to say will help you. If you say you have been delivered by Christ... yet you are walking around wounded... then I have to question your credibility. You should also question YOUR credibility. A delivered person, once Christ is at the center of your heart, will be transformed! There is a quiet confidence that that person exhibits. The person is calm in the face of adversity. The person is meek which means that person has strength which is under control. That person has the ability to trust GOD and not worry about what may come because he/she knows he doesn't have the ability to control what may happen to him in the next second. Strength under control is something one has when they have experienced the presence of the LORD. It is much easier to become meek when you have allowed HIM to come in and now you have experienced HIM for yourself.

So again I ask... you say you have been delivered.. you say you are a believer.. you say you can do all things through Christ which strengthens you... So I ask why are you walking around like you are defeated? Are you a CREDIBLE witness for JESUS? If someone says they have put it all in GOD's hands then they run around WORRYING about the situation... what does that say about your credibility? You have NONE! Right.. YOUR actions have tarnished your credibility to be a WITNESS for GOD.

I can hear you right now. HOW DARE HE! Yes...how dare me. And I dare you to come to grips with who you are. I was once there in my life. My credibility based on my actions was SHOT until I completely (COMPLETELY) Surrendered to the LORD. Now my ACTIONS are in line with my public and personal statements. My credibility has been restored. I am who I say I am. I believe what I say I believe. My outward actions represent what I am on the inside and when no one is around... I represent who I say that I am privately because I know I am truly never alone. HE is always watching me. So ask GOD to help you improve your credibility. First order of business is to self examine yourself and what you represent. Look at your public posts on facebook and other social media sites. Do they line up with who you think you are? One day you love GOD... the next day you are cursing someone out... using all kinds of profanities in your self expression in written word and verbally around others. Are you CREDIBLE?

And for those of us who understand the burden that comes along with being delivered, stop asking why are you placed in an environment that is toxic. Where darkness is all around you...where there is so much uncertainty. Could be your work place.. could be your place of worship... could be where you live. Have you ever taken time to think that perhaps the light that is within you is there to shine brightly in the middle of darkness, chaos and confusion? The light drives out darkness. The light knows when to be still in the middle of chaos and uncertainty. The light is a guide for others blinded by the darkness. Those who want to go a new way will be drawn to the light within you. Those who want no part of that light will get as far away from you as possible.. and those who want to dim your light won't be able to touch you because HE is with you. You are where you are because YOU are WHO you ARE... and YOU have what you HAVE so that OTHERS can see what IT MEANS to HAVE THAT WHICH IS IN YOU!
