Your BUSINESS...is YOUR FAMILY! So Why Isn't It Running Smoothly?

You can never have a solid family clicking on all cylinders if you are not aware of the flaws that have the ability to hold the family back. A good business person continues to look for potential flaws that might damage the business. In the process of identifying the flaws, a wise business person addresses them in a very meaningful way that allows for increased productivity. The deficiency could be in the business person's ability to understand a particular aspect of the business...so what does that wise person do... he/she brings in someone who knows more about that piece of the business then he/she does. The wise business person surrounds himself/herself with a team of people who can do the job better the him/her. So I ask you today, what is holding your family back from clicking on all cylinders? If you are the leader of your family are you willing to address the deficiencies in you first? Are you willing to seek wise counsel (word of GOD) to help you shore up the weak areas in the family model? Are you wise enough to understand that while you may know some things, there are some things you have not done a good job in handling so its time to bring in someone who knows how to deal with it better than you? Are you willing to see that the buck stops with you and as a leader it is your responsibility to ensure the family unit is clicking on all cylinders? If you are not willing to address your deficiencies first, how can the family model ever run smoothly? The best businesses in the world have leaders who have identified their strengths and weaknesses... and to ensure that the business does not miss a beat... they shore up those weaknesses in a manner that will allow the company to be successful. Your business is YOUR family. You've invested so much in it... so are you going to allow your pride and ego keep it from working together in a manner that allows it to be clicking on all cylinders? A wise person learns from his mistakes, but a wiser person learns from the mistakes of others. So are you wise or wiser? Restore your family by working on you. You have issues, but your pride won't allow you to see that. You love your family... I know, but do you love them enough to put your pride down and say I am sorry. Please forgive me! Once you do that with the help of GOD... then you can see others the way HE sees them because you NOW see yourself the way HE sees you.
