Do you know who you are in Christ?

I would like encourage everyone to learn who they are in Christ, we need to understand that we have authority over ALL of the enemy's power and we shall not be harmed. I think what James says, be doers of the Word, not just hearers. We have to believe every Word of the bible, and know without doubt that everything contained in it is truth and for us! The enemy will do what he can to cause distraction and to attck your faith, but Luke 10:18-20 says: And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

Even with knowing this we need to believe and understand who God is to us and who we are to Him, in Christ. As I study the Word, I have come to realize that above everything we need to know the Word of God for ourselves, Of course we need preachers and with that we need to study for ourselves to show ourselves approve unto God! The Pastor's charge is to feed you, you have to take it a step further and meditate on it, pray, fast, inquire of God, ask for revelation and everything else you need from Him, He will give it to you, however, you must be diligent (serious) about things concerning God.

We need to study to rightly divide the Word of Truth, we have a responsibilty concerning the Word of God! I pray this encourages someone to delve a little deeper into the Word and rely on the Holy Spirit to reveal and guide the mysteries hidden therein. Ask the Holy Spirit to do just that and He will.

Ephesians 1:18 says The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, pray and ask what this scripture says.
