A Letter from Satan to All

I first want to thank you for turning away from GOD. He really is a thorn in my side, but you have made my job so much easier. I will never show myself to you because I know if I do, you will turn to GOD immediately because your eyes will be opened to the truth about the spirit realm and the battle for your soul.  I thought this job would be hard….really hard… because there are things GOD has exposed to you to show you that HE is GOD.

For instance, I remember those car accidents I tried to make happen in your life (where someone almost slammed into you on many different occasions or YOU almost ran into someone) and GOD intervened and prevented anything from happening to you. I remember when I created a storm in your relationship and GOD intervened and saved it. I remember when I influenced your supervisor to begin looking at you negatively to the point the supervisor was ready to fire you and you knew there was no cause…but it was about to happen… and I be darn… GOD stepped in and prevented it. You remember when you did not have enough money to pay your rent, mortgage, car note or buy food. Yep I made that happen and you were almost ready to give up and blame GOD… and guess what… His son intervened and somehow you received the money to cover your expenses.  I was relieved when you said it was all you and a little luck. But I know it was GOD intervening. I remember when GOD made the birds fall out of the sky in different places. I said to myself… they are going to get it now, so I wanted to ensure that you did get it… MY version. The fireworks did it and you believed it!!! (LOL) I was overwhelmed that it worked! You noticed you have not heard anything about the birds lately? Yep…that’s me. I made sure that would go away in the public. You remember all those unexplained occurrences in your life… you call them coincidences and luck… but I call them miracles. You see GOD has always been there for ya (I just can’t understand why he continues to love you when you don’t even acknowledge him by your actions… but he does… wow!). I am so glad the things I have created in this world have distracted you from really paying attention.

Thank you for being worried about someone incorrectly singing the national anthem at the Super Bowl and being consumed with the outcome of that game! It’s important to me that you consume yourself with what your neighbors have.  Hey…who ever said it is bad to be envious of what your friends may have. Look...that jealousy thing is ok by me. I am jealous of GOD because I already know he wins in the end. But heck… I want to make sure that you are on my side when it is all said and done.  Listen I know you won’t admit this publicly, but we know the truth about you don’t we? Trust me, I won’t tell anyone. The secret things that only you know about yourself…is between me and you (wink).  I will make sure you have what you need to feed those desires. I understand you. I am your friend. I will always lead you down a path that I feel will help me win you…um…. I mean… help you!. So don’t worry about anything. I will make sure your children get what they need. I created so many tools (distractions). You do not have to worry about being an influence in their lives, because I GOT THAT COVERED! Just continue to focus on you. Continue to make everything about you. Continue to take the things I send your way and use them to help me… um… I mean you.

It’s ok to spend all of your time majoring in the minors of life. You know the things so called GOD Inspired people say that have no impact on the outcome of your life. I have got to figure out a way to shut them up. Don’t you get tired of hearing all that positive stuff? Yes… Me too. I am so glad you have convinced yourself that YOU control your destiny… that you are the reason you are where you are today. I am so glad that you understand the importance of self-indulgence and being self-righteous. I love self-righteous people. You are my best weapons because you are so smart. You are just absolutely brilliant because you can see all the wrong in folks around you. I have given you that special gift. Continue to use it. Look… self-righteous allows me to continue to work through you to impact others. Thank you again. We are really good friends and it’s ok that you do not acknowledge me. It’s all about what you do, NOT what you say that tells me we are on the same side. Keep going to your place of worship and acting it out when you are there. No one has to know you are playing church.

 I know you think you are a good person with a few flaws. But who’s looking anyway. Didn’t I tell you it is ok and the secret is between me and you. There’s no harm in feeding your fleshly desires. Look, I will make sure you have what you need, just as long as you continue to be self-righteous. It’s ok to put down others. You are smarter than them and they just don’t understand the path I have you on.

You have made my job really easy. I thought GOD’s word would make you see the truth, but you are smarter than I have given you credit for. Yes… you know it all and I am so thankful that you do. So what I have done is made it easier for you to see my truth. I am glad you understand how important it is to focus on how you feel. I am overjoyed to know that you react the way you do to circumstances I have placed before you. I am thrilled to see that you allow your emotions to guide you because that’s where I am most effective in guiding you. I am just overwhelmed that you have decided to lean on your own understanding about life and you are allowing your thoughts to guide you (it’s me talking to you and placing some of those thoughts in you…didn’t I tell you I have your back?). Didn’t I tell you how smart I think you are? I believe in you. I believe in you so much that I will make sure you have all the tools of this world to continue down the path you are on now.

Well, I have to get ready to go and put up some more mirrors and blow a lot of smoke. Continue doing what you are doing. Remember, YOU and I are going to be eternal friends. The path I have you on guarantees we will have an eternal relationship. Remember, I believe in you. Don’t let me down. You are brilliant. You are self-righteous. Continue to see all the wrong in others. Don’t worry about you because you are shaping up to be just what I hoped you would be. Don’t let me down… um… I mean you down. I am waiting because time is on my side and the way things are going… you are so distracted you will not focus on what is REALLY important in your life. Thanks again friend!
